Personal thoughts and meditations on life, business, ministry, and God. Also, feel free to listen to selections from my worship guitar project by clicking here. Despite the misguided views of many Christian leaders, rock music can be a source of inspiration and excitement. Growing up in a Christian home, Christian rock played a part in pumping me up with a life-giving message that I could shout to. With growing entrepreneurship with the Church, as well as an upgraded understanding of technology, the Christian community is seeing the Internet and related tools becoming a part of our culture. But, are we really moving forward? Big time ideas take big time dreamers. Every day, Christian entrepreneurs and soon-to-be pastors and preachers are gearing to pursue His purpose for this appointed time. But, if God inspires you, is planning really necessary? It's easier to cast out a dumb spirit than it is to cast out a stupid one. It's one thing to not know because you've never heard. It's something completely different to know and turn away from the truth. What would happen if we worked hard on building better Christians instead of building better buildings and ministries? Serving the Christian community can be a mix of praises and criticisms. It takes thick skin to help the Body. In the pale glow of the computer screen, it seems as if all of life stands still at 1:30 am, and you are the only one in the entire world that is still awake. Good things seldom come quickly and easily. It takes time to grow and grow right. In the rush of everyday life, we can lose site of what God has called us to do. We've got to stay focused, even when we can't see very clearly where God is taking us.
